You must inform the airline about it.
If you take insulin injections, also needs to inject insulin. Be labeled, according to the TSA needs to insulin with the label printing professional or manufacturers name or pharmaceutical label.

If possible, make sure that you are treated with insulin and non-prescription. Also note that if the cooling needs insulin, must also find ways to do this. We have no fridge in the aircraft, not passengers. Everything you need to renew is cooled with ice cubes and ice cream. In addition, we are not authorized to accept passengers for the storage or cold.
You will also find a container for disposal of syringes in the toilets. It is sometimes difficult to find, usually on the mirror. This is a small thin tube-ish looking device with an image of a needle.
Yes, according to IATA, with insulin injections may continue to be, there is always a protector of the needle. You can also declare that it has a needle for medical use, with a letter from a doctor.
For more information, visit the website below. Or you can see the back of your card, a brief overview of what can and can not give the flight with you. For control, please visit the website of the airline to see if it is enabled.
Good luck and bon voyage.

I wish you could get a medical certificate to ... can not be careful. I hope that would suffice your bottle of insulin, but only if the account or using Rx. If they have trouble when you can ask the flight attendant on how she is the guardian of the needles, when you need it. I'm sure if you show your life / death, fear of them working with you.
